Damn that is potential for serious lasting injuries down the track giccin. I would suggest a lawyer, and I hope you guys have 3rd party insurance like we do here (as in personal injuries etc) as you could potentially get hundreds of thousands in insurance money from this due to whiplash/muscle-injuries/other-injuries that might have long lasting consequences. Hope you get better

Ugh sorry to see that... hopefully you get yourself better and get the car taken care of. Don't let their insurance company mess around and I agree with getting an attorney.

Was in the ER when I posted. :P

Emergency Care my ass. They made me wait an hour.

Anyways... I'll update with more pictures of the car damages.

And we did get a lawyer. :> I need my emotional damage fees.

Got my x-rays woohoo!

Unaligned C5 and C6 bones (neck), Unaligned Lumbar L3-5 (lower back near your butt), Bruises all over legs. Slight tendon damage that holds patella bone (knee cap) to the top of the shin (Tibia). Upper back has lots of muscle issues because of the impact and from the neck injury. And apparently something is wrong with my lungs after that hit because it's painful to cough/sneeze and sometimes breathe. My Hips are actually not aligned correctly now. So one side is taking all the stress from the other because of the back issue. And the joint where your leg moves is all unaligned too. When rotating you hear little clicks because it's rubbing against a tendon. Lol

Can't rotate neck right very well so checking blind spots when driving sucks. and having really really nasty shoulder pains. I'd put an image of my X-rays up if I took the actual picture.

Not soooooooo bad in the end tbh. Hurts but liveable. Gonna have to go through few months of rehab because of the lower back. Lol

:happy0180: Thanks for the messages guys. :> Great to know good people are still out there.:happy0180:

Damn sorry to hear about that list. Get a X-ray of your chest, perhaps you have a fractured (even if slightly) rib/s because the pain in breathing after any impact is usually a sign of that
Hopefully it all comes to be ok

PT is gona suuuuucccckkk!!

Those are pretty standard injuries, glad its not any worse!

I dont want to take away from your thread, but i wana share my accident with you.

I was in a coma for a few months after this accident in 05. When firefighters found me, my head was resting on a tree, but the rest of my body was still in the car.

I had destroyed basically all of the left side of my body. With 18 bones either fractured or broken. Torn Tendons. I suffer from trauma related retrograde amnesia and got the occasional seizure now.

(reconstructed portion of skull using 47 plates and screws)

So 3 years of PT, OT, and Neuro, and chiropractic. I know how your feeling, and i know the pain your going through.

Just keep up with the PT and see a Chiropractic for regular adjustments (get massages often). The last thing you want is to develop chronic back pain because of the damage done.

I also recommend dietary supplements and vitamins, magnesium more specifically because they help with muscle movement, and if your focus is to regain full normal posture in your back, there aren't a whole lot of foods that offer dietary magnesium.
