I actually use the wheel when I'm not too serious, like when I'm just doing the races or grinding. When I have to be serious, like in the license tests or time trials, I do better with a controller. I'd be down for an online race or two, with sufficient heads up of course |

I didn't do anything special to see them, I just started doing the seasonals and it displayed the lines of friends who have already done the event. Could be that if you did it first, there was no one to view. Go back and try it again!

I'm really liking the festival of speed for some reason. I felt sure i would get tired of it since its a short and simple simple course and you're doing the same one over and over. The cars they select are so varied that you actually have to adjust your driving quite a bit. |

I just played GT6 for the first time this past Sunday on an awesome setup. Not sure what kind of wheel, but it was set up in front of a big 60" tv screen so you felt like you were actually in the car. Set some good laps in that thing.
The go-karts are a lot of fun in that game, though a little tough to adjust to. Funny to take the karts on a full-sized track and take turns at 100 mph flat-out. I love the new physics though, you can actually feel the body roll and when the tires are going to break traction. I'll have to pick up a copy for myself soon.

Haha, you just have to sit reeeeeeeeally close to the screen Same thing actually happened to me, tried to move my set-up to my office (with an old 32" tube style TV) because my wife doesn't want my monstrosity of a rig (g25 & TV dinner folding table) in the livingroom. I had to come crawling back (a wheelstand pro help alot too).
