daymm!!

Dont do it!

if you are going to spend that much, give Marty a call, he has these on his site

Crescendo Opus 9.9 (6.8" & 3" & 1" component set) $795 (RRP$1649) - Ex-demo (Full Warranty)
Crescendo Opus 9.9 (6.8" & 3" & 1" component set) $895 (RRP$1649) - New (Full Warranty)

These are some of the best speakers i have ever heard, i used to look forward to judging the Aust importers car at each comp cause it sounded so damn sweet, it was one of only a small handful of cars i would happily have as my own to listen to every day.

If they are so good, why are they so cheap?

DLS make some very good midrange drivers around this size. Seen often in competition car audio.

I have never heard a set of DLS's that i have ever liked...

Dyn's are nice, very clinical, but accurate.

Hybrid Audio are fantastic, The designer/owner of Hybrid, Scott was a bit of a mentor for me back in the day when i was competing. never known a man with so much knowlage on audio.

I have decided to either just upgrade the headunit to transfer a better sound, or add an audison sound processor.

I used to have a Kenwood HU, spent ages trying to get some midbass, changed speakers, sound deadening, bunch of other tricks..
Swapped out the Kenwood HU for the Alpine unit i have now and i had all the midbass i could ever want!
