I believe the engine in the picture is a IS-F V8

I can promise you this car will pump out massive smoke during qualify then get left behind during Tandem.

This is the first FD type build I've seen for D1. I seriously doubt it will work for the type of courses and style of driving in d1. When he chases he will lose points for blipping the throttle and when he leads he will be caught in the transitions and hairpins by the S chassis. Just you watch

It is not even close the converting a fwd car to rwd...

This is like putting a motor in that can be easily achived if u know where to buy oje from wreckers.

Unlike a nascar v8.

I was just talking about this with a friend, he talked about how so much different D1 is to FD.

It was funny..iv been to a few FD events..but the way he described FD was like describing a super redneck version of NASCAR. vs a political mess that D1 is. Both are drift events but compete very differently.

Theres one thing i like about D1 over FD. Overtaking. Which makes it seem more of a race. Forumla D drivers and penalized when overtaking a car.

Scion has two that were running, I suppose you are talking about the V8 swapped tC. The Scion Racing tC has the factory motor in it with 760hp. But the Rockstar tC had the V8 Nascar motor. I don't know...the Rockstar tC seemed a little more out there than this swap, since it wasn't just a V8 swap. It was a TRD Nascar V8 motor. At least this one is a production car V8 motor.

Just a question. What do you think the "Nascar" V8 had in engineering over other high budget drift team V8s?

Am I late or did anyone else realize his motor is giving us the finger?

Yeah I'm sure a lot of us are going to swap a V8 into our FRS/BRZ...
