There hasn't been a good Batman since Michael Keaton.

Affleck has the best chance of doing a good job. The rest have stank.

And those last two Batman films, the ones with the high ratings, were downright idiotic messes. People are stupid.

Best one, imo, was the Dark Knight. I like most of the Batman movies, but that movie stands above the rest.

The Dark Knight comic character had quite a bit of rage and hurt. There's emotional vulnerability to the character. Keaton got that perfectly. Bale wasn't even close. He also had much worse scripts to deal with. Frankly, the last two Batman films were pitiful. The newest one was a mess of a script. I love Hardy. He's an amazing actor. However, with a mask on his face, how is he supposed to act? The previous one was embarrassing. The omniscient joker? Whatever. It was like a reverse Mission Impossible film.

I gotta wonder how many of these people that are reacting negatively to Affleck being Batman were the same group that brought up that Heath Ledger was just a "gay cowboy." Regardless whether you agree with me, I think his Joker in Dark Knight was one of the best performances in a generation.

In other words, wait until the goddamn movie comes out before you smash the casting. Armchair movie directing at its finest.

I still wouldn't of chose Affleck as Batman but man so many people are taking it so personally. When I first heard Superman v. Batman, it sounded like a money grabber and struggle to keep up w/ Marvel's Avengers but I'm pretty sure everybody will watch it including those whose complaining. Even if it sucks balls, still be able to go back to Nolan's Batman or the other ones.
