Shiv@Openflash:

Did you remove the 2.06 Off-The-Shelf from your Open Flash Tablet site?

I am using them, and wanted to recommend to a friend but all I'm seeing is the V1.59 Maps.

Is something wrong with them? Or just temporary?

Others:

When I was driving yesterday testing out the map my IAM was 1.0 for most of the low speed drive but once I accelerated in a higher gear at low RPMS and it dropped to .88, and settled at .82, is that bad?

Will it go back up if I keep driving? ECU probably has about 1-2 hours of driving on it, mostly under 50 mph, until this last run where it dropped.

Thanks!
Akshay

Hi,
The v2.06 maps are definitely available for download: http://openflashtablet.com/Automotiv...ads/index.html

Also, it's totally fine for the IAM to move around from time to time. I would only be concerned if it routinely dropped below .60. To me, a IAM that stays stuck at 1.00 indicates a map that may be too conservative, leaving good power on the table.

I see them there now, at the bottom! Awesome, I will certainly pass the news along to my friend as well. Thank you for the quick reply, sir.

I'm also remembering back and the gas in my car might be from the boonies from when I took a trip, so hopefully filling it up with some better stuff soon...

@Shiv@Openflash,

I have a question about my OFT. My CAL id show as A01C however when i plugged my OFT into my car it show B01C under the ECU info. I have the file loaded as A01C tune onto the OFT from OFM. Its wasn't like this before after i updated my OFT from OFM and downloaded the newest tune. Right now i have the A01C tuned loaded onto my car and start up fine. Has anyone notices this or is it only me? Should i worry about this?

Thanks

Ben

This is normal. With the v2.x maps, your internal CAL ID has actually been updated to B01C.

You should still pick your original A01C Cal ID. In fact, OF Manager won't let you pick anything else.

OFT v2.06 Non-Beta

Are you saying ethanol free 89 octane? Definitely not. Lowest octane that is compatible with the OFT (as well as our car) is 91 octane

The tunes Shiv created would not be a good idea on that fuel. You could however alter the his tunes to work yourself. You would have to lessen the spark advance and possibly the AFRs. I am not sure why you would do this unless you were unable to by the proper fuel in your area.

So my cars CAL ID is B01C and so are all the tunes on my OFT, as it came from Shiv.

trying to change out St 2 EL for St 1 93OCT and when I select the bin file, it says wrong checksum or something like that? Still reading and trying to find a fix.

I didn't think one would work.. We have Ethanol Free 89 + 87, 89, 93 and 100 octane here. I usually run 93 with the Stage 1 91 tune. I'm running the stock tune with ethanol Free right now just for fun. My car seems to hum along and sounds much quieter with ethanol free.
