Is that why Clip didn’t make it to dinner the other day? He was tied up?

I was gonna try to make it to the lunch but it wasn't in the cards.

Also being able to quote posts seems to be broken.

Speaking of keyboards, I'll be trying this one out soon: https://www.amazon.com/TECWARE-Mecha...6350225&sr=8-2

@Cole
So much unnecessary lighting! This is like the equivalent of the red RX7 fd in fast and the furious having red underglow, iirc.

Scroll Lock survey

Speaking of keyboards, quick survey for you:

Somewhere near the upper right corner of your keyboard, there probably is a key labelled "Scroll Lock", or "ScrLck", or similar.

Which statement do you agree with more?

  1. I've never noticed that key, have never pressed it and will never press it because I don't care about stuff like that.
  2. I'm afraid of pressing keys I don't know, because I'm afraid I'll break something in the computer.
  3. I have pressed all the keys on my keyboard at least once, and that one does nothing.
  4. I wish my keyboard wasn't cluttered with scary and/or useless keys, like that one.
  5. I use it all the time! It has a function in Excel and... uh... probably lots of other programs.
  6. I miss operating systems and/or programs where the Scroll Lock key had a real function. The good old days when you had to learn how to use a computer.

I'm on a tablet, and can almost touch type... But there is no such button.

That said, even though I've used it, I don't really miss it.

These days I get messed up all the time because apple has to buck standards...

@Cole
To be honest, I'd spend a bit more and get genuine cherry switches.

In my current line up, I have:
-Knockoff cherry blues, they don't feel quite right, can't put my finger on what I don't like though, kind of feel spongy.
-Cherry reds, too light of a key stroke imo, but I use them the most since the board they're on is a TKL and has backlighting
-Cherry nature whites, love the switch, but the board is a 60% and I don't need to save that much space when I'm at home.
-Cherry blacks, the be all, end all switch. Nice, firm linear stroke, love them for typing and gaming. Unfortunately, again, they're on a 65ish% board, so that board doesn't get a ton of lovin, but I'll likely switch back to it in short order.

Been thinking about getting a numpad, since most of my keyboards are smaller than a TKL, but for the price I'd pay for a nice mechanical number pad, I might as well just get something like a CM MasterKeys L or a Corsair K95 or whatever.
