With the Edelbrock kit their MAP harness relocates IAT signal to the MAP sensor post heat exchanger, IIRC. Any suggestions on how to log IAT from original MAF sensor with this configuration for pre heat exchanger temps?

You'd have to make a custom harness and use the rear O2 port and custom map it. TBH it's relatively worthless as you can just log ambient temp which will give you a decent enough idea of the pre and post cooler temps.

Thanks for the info. That sounds much more attainable I'll make sure I'm logging both.

I've attached a temp graph I put together from one of my afternoon sessions at VIR. Still working through some of the other data. ECUtek did this wonky thing where it split one of my 25min logs into about 40 different files, so I have lots to look through. Ignore the units for the Time axis.

EDIT: Here's the same data formatted from my first session out in the morning.

Never known ECUtek to do that. There's a merge tool in the file menu where you can drag and drop multiple logs to join them up, or in your case restore them

Thanks for the data BTW.

Looks good, thanks for the log! You've got some important cooling upgrades. I wonder if there might be heat concerns with a stock setup on say an 80o average ambient temperature day and/or on a 'gearing challenged' track. ie, in a 6-spd stock setup on NJMP Thunderbolt or Thompson, the car spends a LOT of time in the 6.5-7.2k range because it's just not practical to grab the next gear before braking.

Have you thought about trying a 30wt or 40wt for track days?

No, I haven't really considered trying a different oil for track days. I have used Mobil 0W-20 since I bought the car new, and had an oil analysis done at 62k to check up on things. Everything looked good, so I have kept with it without much thought going towards changing it up.

Received my car June 2012, put 66k on it prior to boosting (now at 71k), and installed around 10 different forced induction kits locally before I finally pulled the trigger on my own. To be honest, being able to experience the installation woes of a lot of the major kits, helped me wait for 'the one'.

That's good to know @checkup. Not sure how many long term oil tests have been done.
I'm a little OCD with it when I probably don't need to be. All Mobil 1 since 900 on the clock, 20wt in the colder months, 30wt in warmer and 10 oil changes in 15mos/14,500 miles. (One after every track day along with a full Castrol SRF brake flush.) Cheap insurance.

Back on topic, how did the car feel? Pull really well up the hills? Coming out of Oak Tree for the drag race up the back straight is rough in stock trim.

As soon as this kit was shown fully and available I knew it was the right one. I was waiting on the Harrop, but I think this one is cleaner and looks even more thought out if that's possible. I'll be following your build long term for what comes of it!

I've used Edelbrock products for years on my Vettes. Solid products that always perform.
Everything about this kit says it's 'the one'. Quality, performance, price, US made, least amount of 'molestering' to your car to install and a warranty to boot. How could you go wrong?

Now, *checks wallet*, how often can you donate plasma for money?
