Why don't they register and post themselves? Trying to skirt fees or something?

Mine arrives tomorrow according to the tracking number. I'll be installing it asap and will take a few pictures for you all to see how it goes.
As for the heat that some of you are laying on MOR, you should lay off. The guy already said it's essentially a one man operation. There's no conspiracy or thievery at work, it just sounds like he would rather hang out in his shop than post on message boards, which I totally agree with. This forum, and many others, have groups of members that are just waiting to flex their passive aggressive muscles and rip on people to show how good they are at talking as opposed to doing. Kudos to MOR for making something that no one else has for the platform. I just hope some Chinese company doesn't steal the design and start pumping out replicas for half the cost.

LOL. It's not just this forum. It's every forum. It's the internet in general combined with way too many people that believe they're owed something. In many cases the people that are complaining are the same ones providing lousy customer service to someone else and complaining when the world doesn't drop everything to cater to them. And sadly, I expect it to only get worse. The upside is that those few places that make an effort at customer service and a quality product will excel, since there won't be any real competition.

So I just received mine. I was under the impression these were suppose to arrive with brackets like the STI ones they have? It only included the rods and the latches themselves. Anyone else confirm?

Might not need it. Check the directions or parts list if there are any.

@SPCorBUST so I did find these "slanted" spacer like things, perhaps they are used for mounting, who knows. Parts list / instructions haven't been released yet, probably is fine but if anyone receives can you confirm that there are no mounting brackets (like a large flat piece to mount the rods to)? At any rate, super excited - just hope this is everything that I'm supposed to have.
Thanks!

@ft86me unfortunately they're not available yet. Otherwise would not be questioning whether brackets are missing

I got mine yesterday and was confused as well. Answer from MOR:
"the ft86 kits do not use a bracket, there's absolutely no room for one. We utilize an oe hole in the fender brackets with the angle spacers provided"Regarding instructions: "We put the description up on our website, please look there for list of tools etc, but I just havent had time to get pics and install guide together yet. I will work on it and get it asap"I told Jeff I was planning on installing this weekend. Sounds like we should have instructions by then. Fingers crossed! |
