Lucky... 87 octane here is about $1.38/L so it's about $5/gal.
91 octane on the other hand...

Got mine opti-coated today. Also had my first fill up! 92 octane is $3.89 over here.

Not really surprised at the cost for premium since regular 89 was hovering near $4 for a while.

Totally agree! This is also my first premium car. Not only it is a smaller tank (which means more trips to the gas station) but also I am currently exclusively using Chevron or Shell, so it is almost guaranteed that the price per gallon is over $4.

Meanwhile, premium is sold at 9 USD/gallon in Europe. Quit whining guys.

Good eye though!
My first car was a 99 SHO.

My handle everywhere else on the internet is RPS99SHO.

I am new to modding and messing with parts under the hood, but what does the sound generator do exactly? and why people recommending removing it?

The sound generator tube is almost a pointless piece in the engine bay. It just resonates the air from the intake and also feeds that sound inside of the car for you to hear. Just another cool feature the twins have to add for a fun driving experience.

People just like to remove it because its easy weight to remove and/or clean up the engine bay more. Once its taken off you can see the headers easier.

Thanks for the quick answer! I'll probably take it off when I install my Injen intake
