I got a free 1.5 lb wild caught salmon fillet, so trying my hand at making lox.
I'll have to take some pics when I take it out of the fridge in 48 hours.

Cut the skin off to make salmon skin hand rolls tomorrow. Yum!

Growing up in Norfolk, Va., we'd go to an aunt and uncles' house on the Lynnhaven River and catch blue crabs. They were thrown in a steamer (the crabs-not my aunt and uncle) and a few minutes after they stopped clawing the pot we dumped on ap picnic and started eating.
