Now my definition of tasteful differs from probably yours and others in this thread. BUT, from what I have experienced in the car world, the "hella stance kids" everybody in here is making fun of are more supportive of other types of builds than the people that hate stance.

Let me explain this for you. The guys that like to slam their car and fit crazy wide wheels with camber are not a new generation of ricers, they are the new generation of lowriders. The ones that I respect use good quality parts/rare parts/custom built wheels/unique touches, and since they themselves have a quality build, they have respect for other types of builds too, as long as they are high quality. It just so happens that being low is what they felt like doing to their own personal car.

I think this thread is rude, and unnecessary. That's my opinion.
By far the most intelligent post in this thread.

If there was a guy at work that everyone thought was some jacked alpha male bodybuilder, and then one day you noticed he's wearing a foam muscle suite underneath his clothes, would you think he were an honest and respectable person? Would you lose respect for him?

That's how I view it, and I just think it's pathetic. Just an attempt to give yourself a fake image.

No but ive been behind enough chromed out trucks to get an occasional sun reflection in the eyes. Almost as bad as a lifted truck behind you with HIDs.

I have OEM dealer option mud flaps.
But I am not offended by your opinion. I find it interesting and would like to know why you dislike mud flaps so much.

Fucking beautiful! About time someone responds to a opinion like a person and not a piss baby.

Didn't know OEM mudflaps existed....my aversion is more to the 'Rally Armor' mudlfaps in outrageous colors.

I would also like to add the colored horns to my list. Ridiculous.

The OEM ones aren't really "flaps", they are minimal extensions that actually do a pretty good job. Here's a photo of a Firestorm with them on (I also have them but these are better photos @NoFear99.)

Yeah... I don't fancy those much, either. But they don't ruin the car IMHO.

They do a job reducing the amount of salt, sand and grit blasting my fenders and doors.
They're not pretty, does nothing for the aesthetics, but they make me feel less sorry for my car when doing scandinavian flicks on dirt roads.
