8.5 vs 9 inch is 12.7mm difference. 6.35mm inside, 6.35mm outside. Going from a +45 to a +35 would give you another 10mm inside clearance. You are very very close to fitting those wheels, some people are able to fit 18x9 +38/+40(although still very close). To save money, I would suggest stacking the spacerS you have on one corner, like 3mm+5mm or 5+5mm and bolting it down(make sure it's safe!), lowering the car, and see if it clears. But DONT drive on it(5mm is the max on stock studs). If it clears, I would suggest some 10-15mm bolt on spacers OR replace the studs with longer ones and use the slip on spacers. The other choice is to buy another pair of wheels or get coilovers. |

Stock or lowered ln springs, both work without rubbing However, be aware that this will look a bit offroadish when not lowered For reference, http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...4&postcount=98

I'm looking into buying these wheels that only come in 17x9 +42. Would like to package it with springs with a mild 1' drop. Eyeing the RCE yellows. My question is will this setup work without any issues? Or will the front rub at all? Would I need anything else to make this setup work? Thanks in advance!

Every setup is slightly different as we are talking a couple mm's here. Guy above you couldn't fit 18x9 +40 (+45 and 5mm spacer). 17x9 +35 is known to fit. Your setup with 5mm spacer is +37. 2mm from known fitment, and 3mm from someone who couldn't fit it. YMMV |

Hey everyone, quick question! I purchased Konig Integram in 17x8 +45 with 235x45 continental dw. I brought it to a gmc dealership that my dad is friends with the owners, so they were putting them on for free but they are telling me the wheels won't fit? They haven't mounted any tires because they are stating the wheel is too close to the strut in the front without the tire on it. From everything I've read on here the 17x8 shouldn't be an issue right? Is a spacer needed? I feel like I'm missing something since so many others have the 17x8 without issue!

Just wondering if Enkei 16x8 + 25 with the stock tires would fit at all. I'm thinking it'll be too much stretch (?). Also want to drop an inch on Eibach Pro-Kit.

Fits. Too much stretch depends on you. People fit 215/225's on 9.5's. I've run 225/40-18 on 9.5's for over a year with no problems. Some people on here have 8.25 widths(xxr 527) with the stock tires. |
