This has nothing to do with your header, but you should not be running the CARB tune with an aftermarket header anyways. Fix your install, then get a proper tune, to make it run properly. PM me to purchase a tune. |

More of a road course guy but the drag strip is fun every now and again. First time I took my FRS out last year the track was rained out and I was only able to make one pass where I spun all the way down the track, ended up running a high 15 or something silly so I didn't post it.
Went again a week or so ago and go rained out again but had slightly better luck, was able to run a 3-4 passes. Car still has a lot left in it just because I have a lot to learn on launching the car without excessive wheel spin. Shame I wasn't able to make more passes as I'm confident I could have hit a 12 with some more practice. More of an FYI and data point. Went to SMOG my car with the Edelbrock Kit installed, I live in CA. Car passed no problem.
The technician typed in the E.O. number, ran the visual and proceeded with emissions. Easy peasy 15 mins. In and out. Mods are all CARB compliant (stock headers, stock engine, catback exhaust) Last edited by itsibarra; 10-13-2018 at 01:01 AM. |

For those who have a D-Box, do you guys feel the improvement from driving? I have MotoEast remote tuned my car and sometimes I can feel some weirdness/hesitation throughout the 3k to 7k rpm range. Mike suggested me to get a Dbox, just wonder if it will really solve the problem?

Can you post up logs from when that's happening? It should be pretty easy to spot where/when that is causing you issues. |

Mine is at my sponsors shop now, getting installed in the next few weeks. This is a track only car so I'll have some good info on how much abuse this system can take.

I guess it's belt time. 23K miles and a little over 2 years. I heard a slight squeal a couple weeks ago on start up (a little cold outside) but that's it, I never heard that piece slapping the hood, could have been while the car was warming up though.
