Installing the kit without proper oil lines fittings certainly sucks.... Fitting coming out of the oil pump is about 2x too small to thread into the fittings on the oil lines. Running around a small city on a Saturday to find a flared fitting is certainly a BS way to blow a few hours of instal time....

Really?? That's pretty ridiculous. I can't imagine how they would mess that up during production since there are literally no other an fittings in the kit to mix them up with. edit: Just realized that two different oil lines probably have different sized fittings. Got them mixed up at the factory maybe?

Shitty deals! But otherwise, how is the install going?

This is what mine looked like:

Which of the fittings were too small? The one coming off the oil pump?

Everything is going smooth, just can't install the oil lines...kind of a major piece.

The fitting coming out of my oil pump is about HALF that diameter. Just killing me. Thanks for the photo though, helps me visualize what I need to find.

Who knows the sizes of the oil fitting that goes into the fuel pump and connects to the long braided oil line that plugs into the oil reservoir? (Protibe posted a photo of it)

AVO sent me one that is about 1/2x too small (the side that threads into the oil line) and I cannot finish my install...

No idea .. .mine is all together so I don't think I can measire it. I would remove the fitting and bring the pump and line with me to a pipe and hose place . I'm pretty sure they are standardized sizes

Yeah that is what I am doing, I took the pump fitting out, have the line with me and going to a hose place when it opens up tomorrow. For now...my car will continue to look like it can fly on jack stands haha

Hugely appreciated! Sorry for being grumpy before, I am sure everyone understands why. Hours and hours of working and getting hung up over a little fitting ~ le sigh. Thankfully should all be done Tuesday night if the part arrives quickly. Will update with good news!

Isn't it the fitting and not the line that's the problem ?
