No offense, but I think it'd be wiser to just get original CR Kai's as opposed to CR2P if you're sticking with +40 offset. With CR2P I think the cost and looks would only be substantial/worth if you're going deep. I'm talking like +15 and lower/wide body or cambered.

Hachiro, thank you. I am not very good at this wheel thing. Just looking for an aggressive look without having to do coilovers or wide body kit.
So +40 won't look deep Right ?

Not really, some suspension mods but not "lots of changes." Just look at these Work wheels XSA-04C... They can be aggressive depending on your width and offset..

Work XSA-04C 18x8.5 et41 & 18x9.5 et42

VS.

18x9.5 et30 square with different face options.

The bottom pic looks like it's on Eibach Pro-kit or so, moderate drop.
If you want an aggressive look, +35 offset would make the wheels a bit more flush. As mentioned above, those Work XSA would be perfect.

I have like a 1.5 inch lip on my wheels. They aren't Works but they are 3 piece. No wide body but a couple degrees camber for auto cross. I want to say they are 9 inches wide? Tires are 225/45. If I was getting new tires I'd get 235 or 245 in a shorter height

Much better coilovers available for the price. Definitely look into the classifieds/member for sale forums in here. Many members sell their used, but great condition coilovers.

you're on springs so you need front clearance

245/40 front -- 265/35 or 255/35 rear --- 245/40 is appropriate for a 8.5 wheel. 255/265 is good for a 9.5/10 wheeel.

just remember:

tire compound > tire width

quality springs and struts > taiwanese crap coilovers (skunk/bc/fortune/stance/megan/raceland/etc etc etc)

real wheels > reps

pepsi > coke

a 9.5 wheel with a 225 + auto cross-- joking right?

even a 245 is stretched and not appropriate. and there much more that goes into alignment than a couple degrees of camber.

Easy killer... I run different wheels for autocross. My street wheels have stretch. Race does not. I'll try to measure my wheels later. Thought they were 9s but maybe 8. Tire has a easily noticeable angle on the sidewall
