OMG, guys, he's just doing a mockup with the cardboard. Cut him some slack FFS.

Amazing. A piece of cardboard between the passenger and driver seat would be the ultimate privacy.

These post always go the same way. Most of the board lacks reading comprehension (ooh pretty pictures!) and completely disregard that the photo is just a mock-up.

To the OP. Some of the seat delete kits actually do what you're looking at. Would be simple enough to recreate in plywood, and cover in carpet.

There's mounting points at the bottom of the seats that can be used, plus the two bolts at the front of the seats as well.

I opted for one of the kits personally, as I don't have a place to do this kind of work anymore, but there's a couple of threads on here about doing it.

The fact remains...the cardboard is all that is there, and all that will be there for the foreseeable future. Posters always say that they are going to do this and that later...only to leave their ghetto rigged stuff in the cars for months/years....read between the lines

Wrong. The only facts that remain are
1 - You don't know shit about me; and
2 - You made assumptions based on that lack of knowledge.

The cardboard was in my car for a couple days. And up until I created this thread, no one else on the planet had seen it.

Maybe you should have kept it that way until you actually rigged up something that looks somewhat acceptable...until then

I've been going to IKEA a lot lately. So I have a shit ton of cardboard.
I'll be selling custom seat deletes starting at $9.95+ sh+ your first born (don't ask, it's for my side business) for the first 5 orders.
If you don't get in on the group buy, msrp is going to be 7 easy payments of $29.95.

Mods: don't worry, I'll contact about becoming a vendor before I sell any.
