Like half the steamy scenes? The show has over sexualized it in favor of the viewer ratings. Dont get me wrong, the books had some smut to them, but HBO kicked it up a notch and then some.

Yea. And there was not much about the whore Rosey. She had A LOT more segments than in the book.

Oh by far. So im confused on episode from sunday, did they differ on what happened to Tyrion in the battle? in the books you would recall how he was injured and i dont see it matching up to what i saw in the show...thats a big part of his future character development as well at least in the books it was.

They differed in scope at least. The TV injury was a mere scratch, the book injury damned near took half his face off. If I had to guess, I'd say they diminished the scope of the injury to make the make-up easier for season 3. But I agree, The horrific scarring was pretty important to Tyrion's character development, and I'm disappointed with the way the show chose to deal with it. Actually, I was pretty disappointed with the whole episode, the Battle of the Blackwater was much more epic/dramatic in the book.

yes. which leads to pretty severe treatment (above and beyond how he was scorned before) from others. leads him to characterize an evil dwarf more than a mischevious one in the later books.
