OH GOD! It's mean, but if I had a Go Pro I'd do exterior driving vids. It sounds a lot like Moto Mike's JDL when you get on it.

Anyone else have this experience? It is so loud that I almost feel like something is wrong with my muffler (yes I checked for exhaust leaks).
I have this exact set up, no obnoxious (to me) rasp.

If you're running the stock cat-back it'll tend to cause restrictions and with an opened set up in the front it'll cause a disruption in the flow making that weird raspy noise, best way to fix it is to get an actual aftermarket cat-back, hope this helps

Oh my stock header went straight to the trash can. That thing is possessed. Looks like the only solution would be going back to 2.5" BUT.....

I'll let the dyno make the decision for me. I'll be dynoing my car soon, and if it throws up good numbers with the JDL UEL and the full Nameless 3", then it will sway my decision easily. This is my first big diameter exhaust, even larger than my LS1 Camaro, lol. I'll just wait and see what happens. Worst case scenario, someone will buy this full Nameless system off of me probably for what I paid for it.
my setup is raspy on 2.5" I have fa20 catted header, nameless over / front pipe, ft86speedfactory single exit with varex muffler. I think these cars really need a lot of resonator to kill the rasp once you put headers on. I have 2 cats and they do NOT prevent rasp with my setup. Swapping out the nameless for a motive over pipe and hks resonated front pipe to see how that changes the rasp. Volume is not an issue since i have the varex, i can close it if it gets too loud, but the raspy honda sound keeps me from driving with it open unless i am at the track or in the mountains

Before I put the stock cat-back back on I had two large magnaflow resonators in the mid-pipe and two magnaflow mufflers in the rear. 0 rasp.

Looks like the stock muffler is not suitable for these flow levels.

I think this is also compounded by the fact that the innovate supercharger requires a ton of timing retard and the exhaust cam is opened up earlier than NA in the lower rpms.

@CSG Mike I do remember robi's setup sounding similar. Rediculous rasp. I thought it was his header that had exhaust leaks that was making the noise.

I think I'm going to try a Q300 with an invidia catted front pipe since they're 2.36" in size. Probably get a coated JDL overpipe to match my header and live with that. I'll shelve the Nameless system for turbo later. 1 cat, and 2 resonators plus mufflers is not enough to tame the rasp in a 3" setup. The Q300 is one of the quietest systems there is and knowing how my header is, I think that is what I want.

So... I've got the catted 3" front pipe and the 3" resonated catback from Perrin.... Should I stay away from an uncatted header? I love the sound the Perrin system is giving me, but I don't want any drone or rasp... ever.

Yes, I would. It will introduce rasp due to the size of the piping.

What magnaflow mufflers did you have in the rear?

Will the UEL headers help cancel out some rasp due to the unequal exhaust flow into the collector?
