Perrin has the data and the data shows that their 3" system does not reduce performance compared to the 2.5" exhaust. When I can get an exhaust, I will get the 3" with the intent of going FI a year later.

Screw that, just take the whole exhaust off!

Back pressure hurts torque! No back pressure for the win, amirite?

The best exhaust is no exhaust.

ok, so i came to this section in search of an exhaust. there are no stickies for this at all.. i am mostly an electronics guy, so buying an exhaust is new ground for me. i know the sound i want(slightly louder then stock, and deeper, no drone), where do i start without disrupting the locals in this section?

Perrin, Q300, or Greddy SP elite. All are too quiet without a modified front pipe in my opinion but there ya go...

TRD, or Borla sound good to my ears. I'm going with Borla as I can get a good deal on it, also has a deep sound that I am looking for.

this has been recently discussed here
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=698

3" exhaust is absolutely unnecessary unless you add a big turbo and plan to make more than 400whp..In other words, even with FI 2.5" should be more than enough for majority of the people..I would definitely ask for evidence (before and after dyno data) otherwise it's just another internet talk
