I have the JL XD 400/4, pretty much same one as above.
On the AUS spec 86, the ones that don't have spare wheels, we have the foam and then a carpet mat and a rubber mat on top of it. Is it bad if both these are on top of the amp and thus providing no air flow to the amp? |

Get some double lock Velcro, we use that to mount some data boxes on NASCAR cup, and ALMS GTE cars. Its hard to get that stuff to unlock.
