Agreed. Comptech will make a fortune selling aftercooled centrifugal supercharger kits for these cars. Their advantages in pricing/packaging/installation will likely outway the horsepower advantage of well-sorted turbo kits in this segment.

I would lean more toward TRD (since it is Toyota's tuning partner in crime) so to speak

The greddy kits for the 8th gen civics were terrible, just saying. I'd be more excited about a full race turbo kit than a greddy one...

Most of Greddy's good parts and kits are for 90s cars. Their 350Z and Rx-8 turbo kits aren't so great either.

I too eagerly await a comptech supercharger however I'm not sure it'll happen. They really only specialize in hondas. Maybe if demand is big enough they're do one though.

Interested in the radiator, and oil cooler kit. I'll make my own turbo setup, not worried about that. Just provide me with rods and low comp pistons and I'm good to go. Actually have a turbo sitting in the basement with a Red BRZ's name on it!LOL

Send a message via AIM to Gadflyii
that depends on the internals and the block.

Open deck block, cast rods, cast pistons, cast crank, 12.5:1 compression ratio + boost = boom.

+1

Is anyone looking at decompression plates for boosted stock engines, seems less labor intensive then replacing pistons.

The piston bowl guides the fuel spray, I don't know how the timing works exactly but this may not work.
