Asphalt is such a sexy color on this car! I am loving Raven though. Didn't think I would like it as much based on the Scion website but in person it fits nicely.

I decided to hold off doing any pictures until Saturday. Going to give the girl a bath and clean her up before hand.

Congrats on your 86. That feeling you get each time you slide in is awesome. I'm 5 months in to my ownership on my argento 86 and the feeling is still the same. Love this car.

Color looks good BTW. Was originally going for that one but went with the silver.

The asphalt has more of a smokey shine to the color. The raven is black but I swear it sparkles in the sunlight

Getting up for work has never felt so good. I give a co-worker a ride to work every day and he has taken up counting all the turned heads on our morning and afternoon commute.

Sliding into it is never going to get old, I agree

No post processing on the first one, that was the morning after I picked her up! The second one I'm not sure, but I don't think so; I washed her beforehand because I knew we were going to be doing a photoshoot

Yea, I've seen Crystal Black Silica on a BRZ and it does look hella nice too; it might be a bit more of a b**** to keep spotless though!

Yea, Asphalt is a dark metallic grey, while the black is just a deep deep black.

You can't really tell the difference when it's somewhat dark out. However in the sun, there's a big difference.

Going to wash mine down this weekend. No rain since Tuesday but it is already looking a little dirty. Looks like I might have Weekly washes on my hands.

Pictures as promised

Sorry for the delay in putting up some pictures. I had hoped I would have been able to link up with a friend with a decent camera yesterday but it didn't work out ... here are some iPhone pictures.

Sorry for the bad quality . I will make sure to not quit my day job!

On the lot about 4 hours before I got her

Day 2 - Dealer version of clean

Day 2 - 86!

Day 5 - Her first wash, polish and wax.
Took her over to a friends house on Saturday to wash, polish and wax her. Took about 4 or 5 hours from start to finish.

My parking buddy.
Me and a co-worker are trying to park as far from the crowd as possible and using each other to help protect one side of our cars.

I love his GT we are working out a deal to trade out rides for a little around town fun. Just need to get more one-on-one time with my girl before I hand the keys off.
