Honestly, I really wish Lotus the best of luck, but it seems like they have too much on their plate for such a short period of time. I really hope they succeed though, the new (2015) lotus elise looks pretty cool!

Really hate the "new" Lotus. We already have oversized/overweight/overwrought/overpriced penis-extenders from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, etc. What we *don't* have enough of is properly small, lightweight, FUN sports cars.

Thankfully, Alfa is coming in with a replacement for the Elise/Exige:

2000 lb., 230 hp, wheee!

This car is not good either. IA good car is not about power, but neither only about weight. What we need are not HP monster, but neither underpowered cars like a Miata. Cars like MX-5 and FR-S are good because of low price, but this also prevents them from having more hightech.
What we need is a some NA high reving 6 cylinder engine for a car that weighs no more than 1000 kg thanks to CF, but that is still enough practical, not like Ariel Atom, KTM X-Bow, BAC Mono.
