I drive by there every day on the way to work. I always see brand new white and yellow Z06s driving around that area. Occasionally something nicer if they're taking it to the tire shop or whatever.

Don't know where you are staying, but if close to Cosmopolitan there is a huge Walgreens very close - definitely can save money by getting drinks, snacks, etc. there so you will have more money for restaurants and gambling. There is a restaurant in front part of Paris that has really good breakfast. Rose Rabbit Lie in Cosmopolitan has great bar/restaurant sophisticated feel. Live music, but not like a club so you can actually hear your partner talk. Mexican restaurant in the mall near that Walgreens that is good. Also, show tickets the day of - go to the Tickets Tonight booth. You will get a discount over regular rate, and last summer my friend and I got upgraded to row 6 of Rock of Ages once we got to the theatre because we went to early show on a weeknight and they weren't full.

,^ like he said.

You should consider getting a rental thou, there is no uber in Vegas & taxi here is as expensive as it gets. 3 Taxi ride cost about the same as a day of rental. Don't under estimate the size of Vegas strip & those mega hotel. I'm pretty sure u or ur gf will be done after just walking through 2 of them. Make sure u get a rental. They are very cheap if u look up for good deals.

We went last October for my 30th for the first time. We rented a car for the first two days for the sole purpose of driving to the Grand Canyon. First day we went to the Valley of Fire state park just north of Vegas. Being we couldn't check in until 3:00 and arrived at 6:30 a.m. The next day we drove out to the south rim. It was beautiful but very different then the Midwest/East coast. Once we came back and returned the rental we just stuck to the strip. They have a bus called the Duece (double decker) and I believe it was $8 a day to ride all day and you could get on and off all up and down the strip as well as it runs downtown to Freemont street.

Also be prepared to pay for your Resort fees upfront when you check in they run anywere from $25-$50 a night depending on the place you stay. Along with if you rent a car put it in a Credit Card. Otherwise most car rental companys will put a hold on your debit card for 3-5 days and they charge upwards of $350-$400. This seams to be the case out west in general. Maybe it is normal out there but un-heard of here in the Midwest.

Pro-tip right here.

I second Wicked Spoon too. Better than Bellagio when it was the best imo.

I want to go to vegas now.

The first time I ever went there, I got off the plane and was tired from the gravol I took since i get air sick. We took the shuttle to our hotel (stayed at the MGM Signature that time), checked in, dropped our stuff off, and went to Planet Hollywood. I got a coffee from Starbucks and then sat down at a penny slot machine and put in $20. It was kinda boring so i just kept putting max bet and when I was down to about $4, I won $1000 lol. I was like wtf? is it that easy in vegas? Not even 3 hours in vegas and i was up $1000.

If your budget allows, eat at Nobu. it will change your life.

I like to party at Hakkasan, Marquee. new clubs tat just opened were Omnia and Draise. just research the DJ line up (amazing if you like EDM) and you can usually find a big name playing some where.
Talk about splitting a VIP table in your group or meet some people at the pools. Once you party with table service, you can't go back. its actually not too bad if you consider cover charge included, mixers, how many sinks you can make with the bottles, never wait in the bar line etc.

Many of the large hotels are making "boutique hotels" within their hotels with a separate entrance, no smoking, no casino. This enables you to enjoy the quiet if you like, no cab line, classier guests. if you choose to go to the main casino areas you can. usually you get a separate pool so no musical chairs as well. Four Seasons in Mandalay bay, the signature in MGM, Nobu hotel in Caesars palace etc.

I agree with some here, this city is much more fun with out your SO. I was in Vegas 2 weeks ago with my SO. The girls look ducking amazing.
