Thank you very much for the reviews guys! Some very nice driving ATL BRZ, and lovely pics! Haven't looked at yours yet dp1.
I'll keep working my way through them to get them posted on our site, blog, facebook, etc. To everyone else...please get your submissions in asap! I'm going to do a drawing for some free iron J Hook rings at the end of this week. Someone is getting free J Hook brake discs to freshen up their BBK! You can't win if you don't submit a review! |

Need to get pictures or I'd have a review to you, though I did buy used. I seem to be missing a close-up, and I swear I took one. Not that I'll be pushing these with AutoX , so I don't know how useful my review would be anyway.

No worries. Get them to us when you can. We appreciate all reviews! Autocross requires pedal feel and precision, and the huge unsprung weight savings isn't gonna hurt your times dancing around the course either. Thanks!

from my AP cost/benefit analysis: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94608
40 days out of AP rotors, 15 days out of the pads The OEM setup was costing me approximately $85.76/track day, while the AP kit costs me $23.52/track day Including the initial cost of the AP Sprint Kit at $2,099, the AP Sprint Kit LITERALLY pays for itself after 27 track days in my case (wear/costs of consumable may vary depending on track, experience level, etc).

I wouldn't as of yet. I usually replace them when the cracks connect through the disk. Maybe others can chine in.

Essex/AP Racing BBK Owners Please Read...We Need Your Help!
Quote:
I was told and have followed "when your nail gets caught in the biggest crack", doesn't look like you are quite there yet but check both sides. Also, it looks like your pads are a little wider than the designated disk contact surface...your inside pads probably develop a lip and some squeal...my Carbotechs (1521/AX6/XP12) all do. Lip gets shaved on the outer surface (your picture) by the metal pieces that lead to the bolts but the inner rotor surface doesn't have those connecting pieces to shave off the lip. |

The free AP Racing J Hook discs are on their way to their new owner.
Please get your product reviews in gents...next week we're doing another drawing! You can't win if you don't enter. If you wrote a review and didn't win last week, you'll be entered again this coming week. So anyone who enters is going to have multiple chances to win. The sooner you enter, the more opportunities you'll have to win. Also, even if your review hasn't been posted on our site yet, you are still entered in the drawing. All submissions are entered as soon as they are received. I love this pic btw! |
