yes i am supercharged, but there's something going on with the alignments of the pulleys (atleast that's what i'm thinking the problem is - 6/7 belts in under a year). So i'm going to get them checked, and the blower is coming off. My friend who helped work on one of the turbo kits is possibly getting me a very good deal on one of them, so i'd have more power, and potentially less issues. we just gotta see if the pulley alignment is what's causing my problems. if it's not, then there's something else bad going on somewhere in my engine bay.

Not sure I could miss a car that badly, but I do wish I could've driven my car this morning. I took the truck to work since it was going to rain and I didn't want to get mud all in my car. Also my truck needs to be driven at least once or twice a week.

But I assumed that the stiffer suspension of the 86 would have been more taxing on my body, but I'm sitting here at my desk exhausted from the "boat ride" that my truck's suspension just put me through... Ugh...

I think the sporty suspension of the 86 has spoiled me for life....

Well have you ever driven a honda civic? I'm sure a truck would be so much better! The civics tires aren't balanced and it has a small oil leak. Hahahaha i guess that's why I was so happy to get back in my car.

Oh yeah, I feel the need to share this.

I got no car for the moment, but I was in my friend's 2013 Ford 150. I don't know why, but this girl admired it and thought it was mine. I noticed what she was driving... 2010 Civic Si.
I was such a **** to her cause she thought she could entertain me with that, but I literally laughed. I could tell she didn't like it, but ended up being a good sport about it.
I told and showed her why I would never get one and became a salesman in the end. She's considering in trading it in for a BRZ. Time will tell though.

I feel your pain I dropped my fr-s at my dad's house on March 28th so that my step mom's dad could start repainting it(got keyed on every panel :/). I've been driving an 07 wolfsburg edition jetta which isn't a bad car by any means but there is so many little things wrong with this car that I'm fed up.
Someone stole the antenna so radio reception is crappy, it gets worse gas mileage, the sun glass holder is broken on one of the tabs so it rattles, the sunroof visor trim piece is broken and super glued on so it rattles as well, my step sister took the aux cable when she gave the car back to my parents, the rear driver side wheel is bent , it lunges forward in cruise control as in it slows down then speeds up (supposedly an issue with this generation jetta), and the damn silver button on the shift knob (a/t -_-) keeps falling off while I drive and now I finally lost it (I'll never hear the end of it), and etc..
I can't tell you how excited I am to get my fr-s back , take some twisties, rev the motor out to 7400 to hear the tomei 60s scream, have my bluetooth streaming back ,and get better gas mileage in a car I actually enjoy driving..

Talking

OMG OMG OMG I developed a man crush tonight... in the men's change room no less

I noticed a guy was wearing an engineering ring (something us engineers wear in Canada). I asked him what he did for a living, turns out he designs engines!!!! He works for an independent design loft (I missed the name because the showers were loud )

Anyways, I'll be over in the Gross/Clean thread exchanging sexual favours for me asking him questions about exhausts/intakes (a particular area of his focus)
