Yup the biggest source of radiant heat for the intercooler would be the radiator behind it. If the back of the intercooler was not black but polished Al that would be better. However given the about of air passing over the intercooler, I wouldn't be worried about the relatively small amount of radiant heat being absorbed by the black paint.

I seriously hope there is more than 50hp and 50ft/lbs. I would like to see some gradients for various power levels depending on boost set up.

Part of that mentality is that it means I have 3 years to save for it

Ever heard of waiting and getting what you might want in 3 months time rather than making a 2 year old type comment. Your wallet is obviously TOO fat

I was thinking about this the other day and came to the conclusion that it doesnt matter if you void a warranty. If something is going to break from the supercharger you are gonna have to pay for it out of your pocket one way or another, and if you can't accept the risk now then whats the point in waiting.

Understand this isnt directed towards you in any way, just my thinking out loud haha

Fair comment actually. Had crossed my mind to get the kit as early as possible because soon I am going to have to knuckle down hard with a marriage and kids in the near future. Might have the future wife tear me a new one if I spend that sort of money either way

It is still a lot of money to justify in any event so will see where I am when I have the car
