I cruised it last night but couldn't find it, will have another look tonight - still, regardless it should still sit fine without the 'screwdown'

I'm sure it will sit fine, it's just when you go over bumps it will be bouncing a bit.

For the parts required to secure a spare wheel try a Subaru Dealer

Holder assembly part SU-97052FJ000 - $13.00
Supporter part SU-97047FG000 - $6.55

Do the part numbers agree with what you have? I got them from a post on GT86 forum - knew I'd seen it somewhere!!!

I went to copy the link but this site wouldn't let me!! Oh well, I will organise in the next week or so thru the Subaru Dealer 20km from me rather than head for the city!!

Hope this helps a feww others who have made the decision that a spare is a necessity

I also spoke with my original Dealer, they also got the same as me and it fits and allows the FLAT rubber mat to cover it fine, just have to tuck the mat in closest to the rear - all good!!

picked up mine yesterday

week earlier than expected.

already clocked up 180kms
