Having a hell of a time trying to diagnose an issue. Car randomly died while leaving my neighborhood. The car would turn on, idle, but once in gear it would just die. I was able to get it into reverse and backed into my garage. Tried to re-create the issue to log for my tuner but then the car would just turn on, and then immediately die. We saw the pressure fuel rail was really low (was reading 0.4 mPA). Since then I have replaced the fuel pump, the mechanical fuel pump on the engine block, before realizing that if I unplugged the fuel pressure sensor the car would turn on and idle. Idle up to 2k, start to fall, then ramp back up to 2k. Rinse and repeat. Bought a new sensor thinking that was the evil all along! Swapped the sensor and yet still the car turns on, tries to idle then immediately dies. 2013 BRZ, Edlebrock w/ flex fuel kit. Log below is with the new sensor.
https://datazap.me/u/batbrz/log-1675...?log=0&data=19 About ready to have the car towed to a mechanic to let someone else deal with this, but if the hive mind can come up with something I would greatly appreciate it. Little desperate to have my car back >.< |

strange because nothing looks really out of place..
did this tune ever worked or never since you started? Does it start with a stock tune (properly modified for eventuali upgrade sensor map or injectors)? |

My first time on E85 with OFT. Doubt it was high E content, but if someone who knows what they're doing would be willing to glance at this.. Gears 1-3 WOT coming onto the highway. A bit of idle in the beginning as I sat at the light to turn left. Thanks <3

Also because of the very light knocks that are happening But overall it looks ok and not too bad, improveable but not fundamental you can go on like this without problems |

Would like an opinion on this datalog. Car is an automatic, sprintex 210 with 69mm pulley and HKS EL header on 93 octane.

Who did the tune ?
It actually looks like a really bad tune to me, the maf voltage is ok for sprintex but the correspondent quantity of air in g/s it is too low, at 6800rpm you should have around 200 g/sec and the ecu only outputs 160 and even the closed loop fueling can't correct thatThe only reason for that for what i can see here, is that whoever did the tune hasn't an idea about how to rescale a maf properly Was it working better before and now runs worse? In that case, do you have a datalog of when it run better? |

Do you have logs of when you finished the tune with them?
Did you try to clean the MAF sensor? also check for leaks in the exhaust near the sensor, but i still think of something off in the tune since it s so lean |

Datalog AFR Error / Knocking?
Hello all together!
I bought myself a 2013 GT86 European Version. It is mostly stock (things changed: After-Cat-Silencer & Intake Filter) and I would like to start tuning it. In advance I want to have a look at its current status and if is even possible to tune. For this I started logging for Knocking and AFR Error and corresponding stuff. I noticed that i have an average AFR Error of 1 and I think there is some kind of knocking (I'm not sure if it is bad) It would be great if someone could take a look over the the current data and give me some pointers where I should take a closer look. My guess: my maf sensor/injectors needs new calibration OR I have an air leak and need a smoke test. I cleaned my maf with a maf cleaner but this didn't changed anything. FYI: I am pretty much a bloody novice in terms of tuning. I am trying to read myself into it currently. Current ROM: ZA1JA02G Software: SubaruEdit Here are my logs: https://datazap.me/u/bengra/gt8622042023?log=1&data=7 (This is data with knocking) https://datazap.me/u/bengra/gt8622042023?log=0&data=12 (This is data for the AFR) Please give me some headsup where I should take a closer look and which kind of data is maybe missing. Thank you guys in advance! Like I said im pretty much a complete starter in the car tuning community so I am happy about every help ![]() |
