If you get the impression that the whole exhaust line is hanging evenly in its rubbers while keeping in mind that the whole system will expand a good inch when hot (rubbers should be angled forward somewhat evenly when cold), then you can just realign the tip(s).

The resonated secondary cat-back is ECE approved, look here (option 6 to 9 marked blue): http://www.millteksport.com/exhaust....3#.UuJUKxARlpg

Didn't know they now offered so many different tip options as of now, mine are as good as black now anyway so doesn't matter

Yeah, I read on Milltek's site that the hangars should be raked forward a bit when cold... mine are all raked almost 45 degrees aft when cold. I have no idea why or how that's possible. All I can think of is that maybe the shop didn't get the midpipe fullly inserted into the axle-back portion? IDK. Man I wish I had a lift so I could get a better view and monkey with it myself.

Here's what I'm seeing when I stare under my car:

It looks to me like the pipe is tapping against the diff housing and possibly the subframe as well?

The only thing I can think of is that the midpipe isn't fully inserted into that clamped sleeve fitting there, since that would cause the whole thing to be pushed back I suppose, which would in turn cause impaired vertical clearance because the whole thing would swing up on those hangar arms.

The muffler hangars are just as out of alignment (left is aft in this picture).

Yep, the whole thing needs to be reclamped, if this warms the whole system is pushed upwards. The whole back box needs to moved forward by inserting the mid pipe more. Rubbers should be angled the other way (forward) and not so aggresively (about half angle from the pics). Would call the shop and ask if they can redo it properly...

Yeah I dropped the car at the shop a couple of hours ago and they're gonna try and adjust it this afternoon. They said that they thought they had gotten it in far enough last time, but that the midpipe<>axleback sleeve was, "very tight." We'll see what they can do. I brought them the old midpipe as well since the carbon buildup / scoring from the clamping should let them use the old pipe as an insertion depth reference. Cue posts full of innuendo and, "That's what she said"-s, lol.

Edit:

It's fixed. Apparently you gotta use the lube if you wanna get that last inch in, lol.

Now that you've stopped laughing, wow does grease-smoke smell like shit. Since it's not an EJ motor though I won't worry too much about a touch of smoke coming out of the tips :P

i think i noticed it about a month ago. cold start up in the morning started sounding raspy for the first 2-5 seconds, then it would be normal
decided to get under the car today to see whats up
i can feel air passing through that crack
no scrapes or scratches on midpipe or axel back, so the crack developed on its own

Man that's unfortunate. Try getting in-contact with someone from Milltek I'm sure they'll help you out. I took some pictures of mine today here's how mine looks after around 3,000 miles. Pretty normal IMO, my 928 which has 150k miles looks A LOT worse

So I pulled the trigger and got the Resonated Cat-Back as well as the overpipe. Working now in combination with a motiv concepts catted front pipe.

The sound is just...wow . Think I waked up the neighborhood with a cold start at 2 AM in the morning. lol.

I definitely feel a bump in midrange torque and the noise is just butter to my ears. I can even hear a little bit of boxer rumble coming out of this lovely tubes.

Next mod: Catted UEL header.
