So it isn't just me....I use to frequent NASIOC in 03-05 and the forums were GLORIOUS..... then it just got weird. I don't know how to explain it.

However I can't keep them from PM'ing my accounts umm, the big split was when Nick split off of I-club and started NASIOC. |

For instance, I posted a thread asking if RWD swaps would be more common now, since we will have the BRZ transmission, which seems like a nice strong unit. A mod called anyone who did a BRZ tranny swap a moron... :/ srsly? http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2299329 |

Really?! Then I'm sure you've worked on my car before. I was a big w1 customer back then. One of the only yellow bugeye sedans in the area. I think they did my up pipe, they did my eibach springs, and a bunch of other stuff. What accident? you're right, I probably know of it. |

This car is going to be slow, regardless of what the fan boys say. That matters because the price has to be right on this thing. If they're asking 25k for it, it'll just sit on the lots. Anyone who says power doesn't matter is wrong. I'm not saying that weight doesn't matter either, but ideally you want a balance. This car is not balanced. It needs more power for its weight. It's almost s2k heavy, but 20hp off. So I could go out and buy an s2k right now for cheaper, and get a theoretically better performing car. We'll see what happens though.

I'll admit I know nothing about tuning, but I hope it's possible to add some top end as some are suggesting, with some mods and a reflash.
I'd love to rev to at least 8k and make some more power along the way. It kinda makes sense that Toyobaru would leave some extra room for power mods, given the "vibe" of the car and it's heritage. All I'd really want is around 20-30hp more and hopefully keep it N/A |

You know I thought that the initial build was supposed to be a balanced sports car in reference to power to weight ratio in order to obtain the best HANDLING POSSIBLE. I see people talking about camrys and that this car sucks and or is going to be slow well this ain't the Camry forum and if you don't like the car because its going to difficult to obtain a ton of HP well this car wasn't designed to be insane but rather as a possible fun daily driver.

Im going to still say that there was alot of performance left of the table for the sake of refreshes, emissions and mileage. Open block or not there should be some decent gains with bolt ons and a flash.
