I'm going to try with stock wheels for a bit , then switch back to my daily 255s, and see if that fix the problem, I just put the fatties for the weekend to get some grip.

Yes I had to. My catch can wouldn't allow me to mount it back by the battery.

They move it there so that it would be lower the the blower, I believe.

Same problem I will have. Catch can will be in the way of mounting it by the battery..

I'd say relocate the catch can. That earlier placement can also get really hot.

Did a local track day yesterday (thompson, ct).

Gotta say i'm pretty happy with the power from a c30 kit on stock header and catback.

Spent a session in the early part of the day holding my own against an early 2000s viper, and the last 2 sessions keeping pace with a lightly modded 13' carerra 4s.

I'd lose a bit of ground on the straights, but not much at all. Very happy with how the car did when keeping in mind theres a bit more headroom on the table.

well I almost got through the install, until i realized I was missing the charge pipe for the hot side of the kit. Pretty bummed, and I have yet to hear from the dealer or kraftwerks on getting me the piece. I have no car until then.

OEM header failed on me after the 5th event because of the cats having a freer flowing catless or gutted OEM header makes sense I think

Hey all, just purchased a kit from FTEightySix. Black C30 with KW oil cooler kit. I love my Phantom Supercharger but wanted a little more up top to keep up with my buddy at the track. I'll be reading through the pages and pages of posts about installs before tackling.

Is there a single source for "Install Tips" or "Install FAQ"?

Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, good info sir, thanks. I have been tempted to get a spare oem beader for gutting, may have to actually track one down now.

Oem design isnt bad and would prefer to maintain the oem heat sheilding.
