My settings are:
open loop
MAF Volts Min 3
WOT Stationary Point % 80
AFR Error 10 - Unless you have changed your intake.

Closed loop
CL/OL 2
MAF volts max 3
IAT max 25C for NA - although I look for a max of 10C range max to min
AFR max 16
AFR min 13
dv/dt max 0.7-0.75 - I will run this twice on 0.7 and 0.75 to see if much changes.

dV/dt is the change in voltage over time, its calculated from your log. This will remove trims that occur due to quick changes in throttle. The lower the number, the smaller the rate of change so the better the results, but set too low and it will lose data. I think 0.7ish is a good setting. If you check the mean/mode chart and there is a wide scatter of results then reduce the dV/dt value.

Remember you can run the log with some parameters set to see what the data looks like and then re-run with reduced parameters to get better data. It's finding the right line that makes the results reliable not useless.
I have 1.3.2 which is the latest version right?

@solidONE did you try just blanket flattening the IAT table? Using the latest update of the tool it would be quite easy to start generating an individual IAT Compensation Table using the log stats screen.

I think I might have on the higher temp side of the table, but in romraider the values can only be changed by 0.4 at a time. Changing the temp values will offer finer adjustment it seems. If you have any suggestion, I'm all ears. For now I'm going to move on to logging for knock since I finally came up with a half decent MAF scale and compensation table.

I will update to 1.5.0 but wasn't 1.3.2 working for you before? Why would this change? Any idea why my open loop fueling table won't validate in POL fueling? That is the next step in the closed loop scaling posses correct?

It's always worked as far as I remember. Just select copy the whole map in ECUtek and paste it into the window and then click validate.

Yeah that's what I did. I says "Invalid data in POL fueling table. Please post Primary open loop fueling table into first cell". I have to be missing something somewhere

You are, you're doing want I thought. Don't highlight the whole table and click copy as you're not copying the x and y axis definitions, which is what you need.

Go to Edit > Copy Entire Map to Clipboard

@vgi I assume you are referring to me? If so, that comment is not needed. I am fully a where that the changes I make are my own responsibility. I am here to learn. If I F up my car oh well I won't be mad at anyone but myself.

Thanks @Kodename47 that was the problem.

Btw, 47, can you show us how to generate a new temp compensation table using the app?

Looks like you got it to work right. Now click the total correction and current box so you can see how far off the original scale is compared to that the app generated. Might want to zoom in to get a closer look at the maf scale below 2.8V.

Sure. You could try this to see what happens:

Once you have scaled your MAF to as good as possible at the range where the multiplier is 0% (1 on ECUtek) then use the Log Stats screen.

I would add an extra 2 columns to the log file itself: dV/dt and Error %.

dV/dt formula:
=IFERROR(ABS(((V2-V1)/(t2-t1))*1000),0)

Error correction:
=IF(Fuel System Status=2,(LTFT+STFT+100),(AFR/Commanded AFR)

*I have a more advance formula to take into account the delay between cylinder and O2 sensor, but it's a bit extreme to add here easily - I will add my Calibration Data spreadsheet as a separate thread*

Click set axis and paste in your IAT table and validate it as the axis. Load in a log and set the x as IAT and y as g/s.

If you added the extra columns as above:
Set Data as Error Correction
Filters:
dV/dt < 0.6 (or whatever you use for CL MAF scaling)
AFR < 16.5

At this point I would take the mean and count and paste them into this spreadsheet.

Try that and see how it works. It's just a theory at the moment but based on what you've tried I don't see how it will be much different. Obviously check the table after. Try and ensure that the OEM axis of 0 compensation is kept. You may well get a slight change in those cells and I would then compensate the rest a little for that. I have added the option to set the % of the total correction to the tables so you can try incremental changes.
