The difference is about 2 or more car lengths in the second race, with a bigger gap in the first. If you find that small, then I have to say, your expectaions are too high

I've had the chance to take a ride in Speedwoks' 313whp turbo 86. That thing is a beast! Gain is about 145whp, and at 350k for the kit it comes out to about 2,4k per whp. 10whp for 30k isn't all that bad

Nice. That's pretty close to my M3 SMG which is my performance target for the FI updates to the BRZ. The 86/BRZ looks and handles great but it sure is slow.

Subaru produced a video on the development of the BRZ (Pronounced here as: Bee Are Zed like how the Brits say it).

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=cQ0sDiL87eE"][SUBARU] 1 of 2 SUBARU BRZ Development Movie - YouTube[/ame]

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=GdZcX7Hawhk"][SUBARU] 2 of 2 SUBARU BRZ Development Movie - YouTube[/ame]

========

When I passed by a gas station yesterday I had my tires inflated to the recommended 35 psi. The results were surprising all my tires were underpressured. >_<

The differences between the BRZ and 86 in the Philippines are:

1. Front fascia. Bumper, fog lights, headlights.
2. Interior:
a. Dash panel of BRZ is silver while 86 wrapped in carbon fiber like vinyl.
b. Heated seats in BRZ (useless) non in 86.
c. Seat material: leather + alcantara insert (BRZ), cloth material (86)
d. Instrument panel: Different fonts. BRZ all black background, 86 white background on tachometer. Background lighting red in BRZ, whitish in 86.
3. Suspension setup:
86 - has softer front springs. Over steer biased.
BRZ - has stiffer springs. Under steer biased.

Is the difference in pricing of 278,000K between the AT variant and 378,000 for the MT justifiable to get the BRZ over the 86 if the cars were the only consideration? No. The biggest reason why I got the BRZ over the 86 is that during the time I wanted a car, Toyota would not take my money. They wanted financing only and not cash payment. Motorimage had no such problem. If I financed the car at Toyota, I would have paid more than the cash price of the BRZ so this was how I justified to myself paying a premium for the BRZ over the 86. I also like the customer experience much better at Motorimage than at Toyota.
I think the other difference would be the number of units produced. 1BRZ:10GT86 and that might be the factor for the price.

Please do not take offense but is your production data from both TMPI or MI?

N. America and EU sales data are easily searched but sales data in the Philippines is difficult to find.

I know initially TMPI brought in ten 86s and increased their orders to 200.

PH-based BRZ owners.

Sumayad na ba ang front/rear bumper ninyo sa downramp/humps/sidewalk/parking chock/wheel stop.

BTW anyone know where I can buy this? This would make parking multiple cars so much easier.

Gained about 10whp and 7tq. Not bad since the intake is known to produce only 5hp based on numerous dynos posted in this forum. With a little tweaking some power can still be squeezed out, as it was running richer than the stock tune. Will do another dyno run once the headers are installed
Bro HRTROB, thanks for sharing your build. I'm having the same exhaust set-up as yours very soon. Just want to ask, what headers are you planning to install with it?
