Will the ecutek stg 2 not do much with an injen intake?

Somebody told me it wouldn't do much since the short ram injen intake will confuse the maf sensor. I wanted to get the stage 2 since I already got my overripe, mid pipe, second cat delete, catback exhaust, and injen short ram intake. Should I even pay 800 for something that won't do much then?

Visconti will do a custom map for you with the different intake. Ming "bogged" a lot on early throttle but he fixed it

It doesn't matter what intake you end up with, if the tuner will adjust your tune it will be done via data logs from your car so it's more of a custom tune instead of an off the shelf tune.

A tune is almost a must for intakes, if only for safety.

Intakes like Injen rely on tricking the maf into running leaner to get more power. A tune will make sure the AFR is safe in the long run, which is a risk with using the intake on a stock tune.

Correct. Listen to these people. If you get an intake(which in mind is a waste now) get a tune.
