What do you want to see about header back? Numbers have already been posted for both systems. They are similar. At this point it is a matter of preferring a sound over another, price, etc.

In that case, do you know which system is quieter? I'm looking for a nice, low growl and I've heard that both perrin and nameless are quieter than most systems, but no sound comparisons between the two.

It is commonly said Perrin's resonated system is super quiet. I had Nameless with Higflow Cat and Helmholtz and that was very quiet too. It's a toss up really.

Now, since you are going turbo, keep in mind the turbo will quiet down the exhaust even more. I am now running full nameless 3" turbo back (that on an N/A car is VERY LOUD!) and it doesn't sound crazy loud or anything. It sounds awesome!

I haven't heard the Nameless but they have multiple configurations available.

I do have the Perrin catback with resonator.

It's nice and subtle with a throaty roar that's not too loud when you put your foot into it. No drone and no rasp.

It'll get louder when I get the Nameless OP/DP combo w/ HF cat and a header but I think it will still be subtle enough for my tastes.

I second what @Chewie4299 stated. I love Perrin's resonated catback. FWIW, it's only drawn a few complaints from the missus - I count that as a win. I'm considering going with Nameless for everything before the catback though.

Just wait till Nameless has their 3" midpipe resonated with their resonated 3" downpipe/overpipe. This will be outstanding for a header setup to tame down the sound without hurting performance on a full 3" exhaust.

I agree with @FR-S Matt: The twins are wee babies - there will be plenty of waiting for the right parts to be researched, developed and released. I do find it funny people want a quiet sports car.

Last I spoke with Jason he said wait and let him test some of the 3" options and to just get the 3" Axleback, so I'm waiting!

It's not about being quiet. It's about being bearable.

I drive a lot. I want more power and the growl of a sexy exhaust but I cannot have drone and I cannot wake the neighbors when I'm leaving at 4:30 in the morning on some days.

Therefore I wanted something quiet and subtle at idle (it's still louder than stock) and tame at cruising speeds.

@Chewie4299: Definitely, that's why I went with Perrin. I'm sure my neighbors don't mind a boxer alarm at 6:30AM though.

Perrin resonated is a solid performer that is definitely acceptable volume wise. It just gets louder when you add a header, especially a catless one.

Not sure where I read or if I had read correctly in a Nameless Performance thread that they found to be or felt that the original exhaust design was optimal and so they improved it. What they did find was optimal airflow with the OP+FP fused into 1 peice. All in all I like both companys.

They kept the number of bends down in that piece which is why it is popular. As they've been doing tests with the header, they're seeing gains in other parts of the exhaust, even with different midpipes. They still are having to find time to test these options inbetween fulfilling orders because they are swamped. I'm interested in seeing the way the midpipe affects the entire exhaust because the stock one seems very restrictive with the bends and the size. They want to custom fabricate a resonator that's not off the shelf for the 3" midpipe section to match the 5" mufflers which should keep the sound to bearable but loud levels.

The 3" downpipe they plan on adding an additional resonator to keep the sound levels down with the header and a full 3" system.
