While true, it can still be done. The FRS does not have the parts, but I do have the part numbers for all the parts needed. After doing this fog install what I decided to do was purchase the correct wiring harness and slowly buy the pieces needed to make it all happen. This way it's PnP.

Is there a part number for a O.E.M foglight harness?

No there isn't a separate harness. It's made into the main harness.

I would be very interested in finding out the P/N for the euro stalk as well. will you be doing a revised DIY guide once you get all parts?

Why would you buy the harness and the stalk?

I'm not a wiring wizard, but I believe this is exactly what has been discussed in this thread over the past few days. Nigel's harness is a positive trigger setup, the stalk is a negative trigger setup. Its a waste of money to buy Nigel's harness if you plan on running the stalk since you can build your own harness for a fraction of the cost.

The diagrams have been posted over the past few pages, just get the supplies and run some wires.

So with curiosity i decided to take the button apart so i could see the circuit board. It seems that from looking at it, ground is separate from the other 3 so wouldn't tapping into the white work? Here is a pic of it and a diagram showing where the wires connect for better understanding.

Nope. As I said earlier, that ground is NOT A SWITCHED GROUND. It's for grounding the light inside the switch.
