I'm noticing that, no matter what EQ settings, there seems to be a flatness to the audio. What more, when I'm streaming music off of bluetooth from my phone, the audio starts off at a higher pitch than normal and slowly returns to the correct pitch, all the while in a fairly low quality.

I'm not sure if this unit was a one-off in terms of quality or if it's like this in general. Anyone?
Yea my quality is also meh

I agree, one of my huge disappointments with this HU, audio quality is sub par.

@2forme can you comment on your SQ? Kind of a deal breaker for me if the quality is poor.

To those saying the quality is poor, are you running stock speakers still or what all have you changed out

Stock speakers. I'm sure that doesn't help.

My sound quality is decent. Definitely better than the stock head unit. That was god awful. But then again, I'm not on stock speakers or amp. I think @privfaith is using the head units internal amplifier since he's still on the stock setup. I'm using the line outputs and bypassing the internal amplifier, so my sound is as good as my stereo.

wow that vid is totally awesome!! i just bought one! lol

2forme, i notice your torque has a boost reading - is that a standard ECU data feed or you have an after market boost sensor to give that output? also which turbo/SC kit are you running? thanks!

It's a standard gauge available in Torque. Our cars run a map sensor under the intake manifold cover.

Greatly appreciate your guys hard work on this. Just a few more questions for you.

Is this scenario possible or is there a conflict?

Listening to Pandora, call comes in, take that call while pandora mutes itself all while torque has been running and reading the car?

Can a satellite receiver be used with the head unit? Don't want to stream xm but actually have an app that controls the stations with station names.

Will an audio setup like the oem car audio 400 get better sound from this head unit as it has a seperate dsp and amp?
