Afiak the P&L is quieter than the SRT, but I haven't heard one in person to compare.

Well, the tune was, unfortunately canned, and not customized for the new header. Hopefully we get some really nice results on friday with the new tune.

I'd like to do a side by side comparo with @Hawaiian.
I have the SRT catback with the P&L overpipe and catless midpipe, so basically a catless headerback. I know mine is probably as loud now, or probably even louder still.
I love the sound but it's getting to be too much. The P&L rear section is becoming more and more attractive for me.

I may stop by to check yours out, but I don't think I'll have the FR-S that day, unfortunately. Probably too soon.

I hope so man! So far I haven't seen anything outside of FI that helps maintain the power up top though.

I would love to see a catted header that can achieve similar dip-eliminating torque-monster results as these!

Quick update from the day:

First and foremost, big thanks to Hawaiian, and Tony at FA20Club. R&D is usually a pain, but it helps when the parties involved are all competent and helpful. So, thanks again guys.

Onto the day... After several dyno pulls and back-and-forths for new tunes, we were 1.09HP away from 200. Next time. However it did still put down some lovely numbers.

Also, some valid concerns were raised while doing the testing. The major one I wanted to cover is STX compatibility. We are happy to say that we will offer an STX friendly catted version of the Header for all you SCCA AX'ers out there.

-Dylan@P&L

Edit: @Hawaiian -- We have your laptop charger.

Looks good, you don't need a catted header for STX, you can use a HFC in the front pipe instead.
