So if you feel like you shift automatically, does that mean you're more involved versus driving an automatic?

I see that as a conundrum (don't get me wrong, I'd love to still learn how to drive manual still, just that I have forseen my school schedule and well... it's going to be hectic and my main focus) and maybe I'm still a bit on the side of loving to see technology flourish. Oh well, whatever bits I'm rambling on about, I liked the fact that Subaru's new prologue model is very shiny looking.

You know, he's right, it does become second nature, and I really don't notice most of the time when I shift. However, when I feel really sleepy, times when I probably shouldn't be driving, it wakes me up, because I do still have to use all my appendages to make the car move. It's also more fun, and more involving when you do want to romp on it.

but back on topic, paddle shifters are also a bit of fun, if done right.

Ah I see. Well I hope I can get to experience the same things that you guys have ( whenever I get the free time... ), it sounds fascinating and a bit of a challenge but not impossible (just... untimely and inconvenient for me atm :/). Maybe auto for now (to replace old put put and become next DD) and in the future invest some time and money into a second car? Oh well, I do hope that even though the paddle-shifters aren't complicated that they are done in a sporty fashion.
