It works via install of a t-harness that plugs inbetween the oem harness and pedal box, which allows the dbw controller to modulate the voltage output. It's similar to the SI-drive on Subaru Legacies, except there is a bit more adjustability.

I don't know if anybody here has tried it, though there is a few fr-s/brz owners that I've sold to already. Sold many of them to Subaru owners over the past year+ though, you can probably find more feedback on the Subaru forums.
I used to own an E46 M3, would you know if this this controller provies the same sort thing as the M3's "Sport Mode" sharper throttle response?

Basically, yes, with more adjustability.

I have mine in the car and I let @cobrabyte test it. We both think it is a good product and does what is advertised.

Blipping the throttle for rev matching comes much easier.

My other favorite thing is that it's much easier to get the car rolling. No more fighting through the dead play of the pedal to find the sweet spot.

Some other thoughts
- I daily drive now in Po6 (performance mode level 6). I do not have a tune yet. When I install the @FA20Club.com tune, I may step it back as Toni tells me he did adjust the throttle mapping.
- Po9 is nuts. Think pre drive-by-wire era cable style throttle. Goes from no throttle to WOT very quickly. Could get you into trouble
- We dubbed Offroad settings as Valet mode
- The unit switches back into standard mapping each time the car is power cycled. You have to remember to press mode to put it back into your preferred setting. I believe this is done for safety reasons.
- Despite having 9 performance settings, you can definitely feel a difference in response cycling through them.

Thanks Paul, good bit of kit you have.

Does anyone know or have this on a AT car? I am intrested having connected my car with a mini elm Bt to Torque. When I look at throttle position it is at 30% while idiling when on, when the car is off it is at the same %. When the car is off and I floor it to WOT it only goes as high as 80%. I would like to feel my car a little more vs guessing where the throttle is at.
