Ok so called the dealer today and stock controller notified me the car is onboard trans future 6 which is due in port Kembla on 6/12. I'll be skipping the detail so you rekon I should get it about 10 days after that?

Go to that 'marine traffic' site and on the left type in 'trans future 6'

thanks mate. Already tracking it, haha. If you go to the port kembla shipping movements its got a schedule indicating the ship arrives at the port 6/12. Question is, if i skip the detail, how many days after it lands will it finally be available for pickup?

I think you can save 2 days by skipping the pre-delivery

I told my Sales Consultant now that I know it's coming off the production line in 23 days [who's counting?'] all's good, blood pressure is down and it gets here when it gets here, some time mid to late January!! Got a feww things in January so it don't matter if i'm a few days late picking it up and if it's raining then that's a 'no go!!'

Got my first track day for 2013 on 21 January so that comes first!! [NOT in the 86!!]

Glad you guys are so close, would have loved to have mine before Christmas and run it down to Wagga Wagga and back but so be it!!

Mate patience is a virtue and reward those who wait. Use that extra month, save up some more cash. I'm just slightly shy of fully paying off the car and Jan would have been perfect in terms of money flow. And "apparently", if you got the car even a month ago, it would not have the new ecu reflash from toyota which fixes the idle problem), so you have now been rewarded for taking delivery in January.

Yes, got the call this afternoon confirmed the car will be ready THIS FRIDAY!! 30/11 instead of 3/12. Tracking was shown 10/12 since Monday, changed to 4/12 this morning. So the dealer pushed to knock off 1 business day to save me 3 days.

So excited

Including detailing etc with the dealer mine was delivered 7 days after it was off the boat and it even spent 1&1/2 days sitting the the dealers holding yard, so it was off the ship on 14/9 and I took delivery 21/9.
Not long for you now! How excitement!

Also what is this ecu reflash fix for the issue with idling?
Mine idles a little rough but have been told its just the way a boxer idles, not like a normal 4 cylinder...

According to the posts over on GT86 AU, TMCA have issued a bulletin stating that cars built after Oct 21st IIRC have a new ecu flash to fix the idle problem.

I think mine would be on the Victory Leader as well. In Brisbane on the 9th Dec. Delivered at the dealer on the 17th so I am giving another 7 days (or less) to stay with the dealer...that means 24th Dec. He'd better have it ready for pick up before XMas.
