It's good to see at least one aftermarket intake shows promise, is it worth buying an afe intake?

But I do like the fitment and easy install. Personally not worth the money to get any intake right now John |

John,
Is it safe to assume the stock intake flows well? Or is there a bottle neck in the stock manifold and intake ports on the engine that won't flow any better with an aftermarket intake ?

In any event, I do enjoy the sound that I get with an aftermarket, and since I wanted a washable reusable filter anyway, I at least get that benefit. What about catback systems? Seeing any need to have to tune for those individually? I hope to have my Evo3 catback installed pretty soon so if that's going to require additional tuning, please let me know. |

Intakes are NOT your best bang for your buck. A exhaust is money well spent if your after a better sound and a nice exhaust tip. Best gains are with a flash - mid range and a list of cool features. Can't wait to test headers... Yhe right Header might be the ticket to hitting 200whp Last edited by Visconti; 09-28-2012 at 09:25 AM. |

These two statements seem to contradict each other.

For the record, my parts are as follows:
Perrin Pulley SRT header back exhaust (sounds super nasty on the dyno) aFe intake I could post the results myself, but I'll let John handle it. We did 60 runs yesterday! I'm playing with the dyno files as we speak. |
