So did you drop the car off or are you still driving it?

dropped it off, they had to order the sprocket and told me to take it home.. I'm less than a mile from the dealer, and I don't plan on driving it until the part comes..

nobody else has a lagging throttle pedal? I was told it's a "brz thing", from another local brz owner who also has this without any CEL..

Being slow is a BRZ thing.

Your issue is limp mode due to the cel.

Unplug the battery for a min and plug it back in so you don't get killed driving it back to the dealer

All set, just waiting on tweaks for the Injen intake, if that is possible.

Are you making tweaks for the Airaid intake (from datalogs) yet or are you waiting to get your intake before doing anything?

John
so the throttle lag is normal? and nobody else is experiencing it?

because, I have a feeling after my p0019 is fixed and my cel goes away, I will still be unhappy about the throttle lag.. I want to know if your tune does anything for throttle mapping..

edit, the link is blocked from another brz site.. but they have the same feeling, its flat and unresponsive..

Definitely feels more responsive with the tune, believe throttle mapping is unchanged but sure John can tell you 100% and believe he's responded to a similar question. Less of a "I think I can, I think I can" feeling coming from the engine with the tune, feels less sluggish. Think this is more of a lack of power issue though, especially at low rpm. Should try the E85.

Edit: realized I didn't respond directly about the throttle issue. I've personally never been unhappy with throttle response, and it has been considerably improved upon by John's tunes.

Oh wow, just saw you've had the cam cel since you got it, sorry man. Sure you could drive one at the dealer that doesn't have any issues and see what you think of the throttle response of another car firsthand.
