Mines is somewhere in Australia at the moment. It should arrive in a few days.

John advised that it should work in Australia.

But I like your thinking...

John you need a holiday from all the hard work you are doing, why don't you come to Australia for a holiday

p.s. remember to bring your bag of tricks as well

EcuTek just added support to your ECU.

Please flash in the stuff I gave you the other day.

It's going to be at least a week before I can convert your tune into that new dealer flash update.

Next time you connect to your ECU - don't dump ECU - but READ ROM to save your ECU - just to be safe

Thanks

So I can still flash using the other version you sent? I think it was giving us a compatibility error if we manually selected the car since it didn't auto detect it.

They added support for the new rom.

Run the ecutek software update and it'll download a new version of the software

I was talking to John while my car was locked away at the dealer for over a week due to my concern with the flash not being reverted back to stock prior to the whole ordeal.

You see, the original repair was supposedly going to be a quick in, and out gateway ECU swap, but sometimes things go wrong.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=72

I did however know the tech working on my car, and he was aware of the tune, so I asked him of he saw anything different. To his knowledge using the techstream he didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

As John said, there are no red flags to alert dealers stg1 has been done to your car, even without reflashing to stock.

John, after all of this dust settles, do you want to see logs just to make sure everything is working properly?

Should we be driving it any special way while logging (beat on it, take it easy, mixed use)? How long should we datalog to make sure you have enough data?

Having a few response issues. I'll send you some logs tonight. A couple banging through the gears and a couple steady AFR to WOT 3rd gear pulls (no where to do 4th safely right now). But I do feel a good difference in the tq curve and the rpm is def higher!
