I can come up with reasons. Stock 5.0 Mustang has the same peak power to weight ratio as the FR-S does with 285whp, who knows what differences lie under the curve, not likely to favor the FR-S. We also lack the torque comparison, even with the turbo. I guarantee you the 5.0 gets a better launch as well. They run 12.5's on a GOOD driver. I'll bank on 12.65 for the FR-S at 285whp/225wtq, considering the FR-S has a decent pair of tires and not the stock Prius tires. All of this with The Stig.

My civic with driver is about 200lbs less than a BRZ with a my weight driver. I net 240whp and 150 TQ. I am sure I run a lower-mid 12 Sec as I have walked some mid 12 sec cars. I know gear ratios is part of my advantages. I could see this car faster than mid 12's with traction and a capable driver.

I don't think we'll have to wait long to see what it will do in the 1/4. I can't see Don resisting the call of the 1/4 mile with a newly boosted car in the shop..

So... when 400whp happens on a stock engine with E85 or race fuel...

Now pump gas will only get you so far. But you have to consider that the DI makes it a lot more detonation resistant. Mark my words, 400whp will come. Stock block.

Im more interested in what it can take long term, id be sick if it can take 300whp or 350 or whatever number on a dyno but how long will it last? 10k? 20k? Thats the big question i have. Sadly thats a hard question to figure out this early

11s quarter mile is definitely within reach at that amount of power.

I have a 2001 Audi TT Quattro 225 with a frankenturbo F23 and a custom maestro tune. I have 307whp and 360 ft. Lbs trq and I have ran 12.6's and this car is heavy as shït. Now I do have all wheel drive and I am launching using anti lag at 6000 rpm. But with some wrinkle walls and good driving skill I can see it happen.

I am waiting on my brz and when I get it I will drive from Cincinnati to get this turbo kit installed.

quick question. I see your location is in Canada so I am just curious did you bring down a bunch of 94 or are you using American 93 to tune?

8 psi looks to be the good place for pump gas..

I've pulled this car so many times today on the dyno and it just make the same power over and over and over and over again.

Just touching up Dons car then it's Phil's turn.

I believe we are going to stick 280whp and 215ftlbs as the stock fuel system on 93 octane pump gas location. Its done Mid 270s all day long while testing further developments. This should be more than adequate for further testing.

This is still w/ the stock header and catalytic converter. Stock Clutch, etc etc.

Yes I'm from Toronto, and I fill up with 94 octane. We're tuning tomorrow with about a 1/4 tank left.
