Do not throw parts at it. Read the manuals. Learn to diagnose properly.
Perfect. Thanks!

Edit: By the way, that crack in the pipe is just on the inlet to the sound generator tubing leading to the firewall. It won't make a difference at all to the operation of the fuel system since it's before both the air filter and MAF sensor.
Perfect. This gives me options. The more the better.

Thanks for the info on the cracked pipe. I see some people get rid of it and plug it at the firewall and at the air filter. I might re-glue it just for peace of mind.

Device ordered. I like the smart on/off feature. It’ll be nice to see live coolant and engine oil temps especially with summer approaching.

The MX+ has arrived! I’m going to get it paired up. Any suggestions for apps or data logging that might be beneficial to the issue I’m experiencing?

Got the device paired. It disconnects after running for a minute or two. Has a hard time reconnecting. Tried an IOS device and then an android. Managed to snap a couple screenshot.

MX+ is working after doing a factory reset and pairing it up to iPhone. Customer service recommended pairing it with iPhon. Not sure why.

What live data would be beneficial to post on here?
It appears the car is running a tad on the cool side and I’m not getting a reading from O2 Sensor 1.

It appears something got under the hood and chewed up the hood insulation? I went to check the oil and was greeted by this - see pics.

After inspecting under the hood, there doesn’t seem to be any nesting or signs of mice. The hole sits right above the alternator. This is frustrating. The car has been well cared for all its life.

Should I remove the hood insolation? What purpose does it serve?
