Aim oil pressure sensor

I want to data log oil pressure and looks like adding an extra sensor to my solo dl 2 is the easiest route. I see they make 3 fitments M10, Dash 3 3/8 24, and 1/8th NPT.

If what I found online is correct the oil galley plug is M18 so none of the sensors are a direct fit. Just wanted to confirm before buying an adapter.

Also 0-10 Bar should cover me correct that's 145psi. They say to use a brake pressure sensor if you need higher

Sensor
https://www.aimshop.com/products/aim...npt-0-10-bar-1

Adapter
https://www.torquesolution.com/product-p/ts-su-609.htm

Any ideas on tq specs for the Adapter

Thanks

And for anyone else who wants to go down this route this link pretty much covers all the info you need

That is how my FA was done (1/8 NPT sensor M18 to 1/8 NPT).

I don't know if it is a thing on the FA, but on some other motors people will put a braided line between the oil pressure sensor and the adapter to help prevent killing the pressure sensor from vibration. Hopefully someone else can chime in there.

This is super cool.

It looks like they also offer a 4ch converter that's a little more plug and play.
Aim Acc

Funny story, I asked Aim about this last year after stumbling across an allegedly incorrect image showing the DL connected to a channel expansion hub. At the time I was told this was a misprint. Now I'm kind of wondering if it was really a misprint or their marketing team was ahead of the engineering team.

Thanks for blowing my mind with this ! I also have the smarty cam 3 which mean I need the data hub anyway but I will read a bit more into this. Can't believe I never seen this before.

Just ordered the galley adapter. Went with prosport instead of the Torque Solution one. No real reason behind the switch lol.

Anyway no turning back now. Will reach out to the local aim dealer and try not to cry at the prices lol

it's not cheap but I have had ZERO missed laps or problems with my setup. I was fully prepared for it to just be okay and feel like I over spent but honestly the way it works blows me away everytime lol.

I get to the track turn it on and never touch it again. It auto stops and starts grabs all my video along with data from the ecu. Importing to my laptop trackside after a run is stupid easy as well from both the solo dl2(wifi) and smarty cam3(SD card).

I am sure you know this as a aim user yourself. You get what you pay for here and I am a very happy customer

Spoke with an Aim rep and he stated, as of now the TC hub is not supported on the solo DL. That's kind of a bummer.

Thanks. Looking at your youtube and build thread now. Sorry, should have looked earlier, you do show the Sport in there also.

As much as I hate the price of that camera, your videos look awesome. I kinda want that.

It’s best to buy it without looking at the price lol. Having the video on hand trackside with the overlay is nice. Also makes looking over data in general much easier in race studio 3. I don’t regret my purchase but it definitely wasn’t cheap
