I am down for this exhaust also once we get pricing information. It would be great to have the option of not having burnt tips though. Any updates???

I guess no one cares about performance. I haven't seen one post (unless I missed it) that discusses dyno results and people are all set to buy this. I also like the sound, but would like to see know performance specifications before I even CONDIDER buying ANY exhuast system. I guess that's just me though : )

honestly, with a catback exhaust system, youre looking at almost identical gains from every manufacture. its more about the tone and quality when choosing the catback imo. Now, i will be interested in how much it makes with a header attached. Thats where the REAL gains will come into play.

Which begs the next question, will you be making headers for the car as well ARK? and if so, please post up gains, runs, and videos.

I have no doubt that the system will produce more WHP but like another poster stated at this point its more about the tone. ARK hasn't disappointed me so far and they always post the WHP gains anyway. This system for my G37 gave me 14 WHP and ARK shows the dyno chart on their website.

We do not "okay" an exhaust system if it does not produce any power. Also we will release detailed info on our dynos with our final production unit.

ARK FT86 - when you recorded that video, whas that a catback only change or was that with the cat removed also? Just curious because I would hate to expect my car to sound like that only to find out there was more to it. Power gains as others have said would be great to see, but it sounds like you are on it. Any ETA on when the production version will be ready to release?

The next update will be up next week. We will be able to release more information on the layout of the exhaust.

Already enroute for 2nd prototype. If all goes well, then we are looking at 1 to 1.5 months for final production landing date.

Many tips options will be available. We are also looking into different exhaust designs as well.

As stated, the dyno results will be released with the testing of our final production model to best represent gains from our #'s to yours

The recording was just the Catback only.

I actually have both right now. My Fiance mostly drives the FR-S and I drive the G daily. That said I drive the FR-S frequently as well and I will say they are completely different beasts. The performance difference between the two is so great that I wouldn't compare them. The most important advice I can give you in this regard is cost. If you don't consider the car note the MPG of the G37 in the real world is half that of the FR-S, tires are twice the cost for the factory sizes, all the regular maintenance i.e. breaks, oil, filters, etc. are all more expensive (this goes for after market items as well). You do get a slightly more usable back seat in the G37 but a slightly smaller trunk. I hope that helps.

If anyone else is interested I suppose I could start a new thread to keep it on topic and give a full comparison between the two.

not to sound like an ass, but those 2 cars are very different. the g37 is rwd, your car is fwd. The g37 comes stock with brembos and many other performance parts taht your car does not. The parts are also much more expensive, as it is the sme as purchasing a vehicle in any luxury brand.

I understand that, I was just saying, that if you feel your nissan was expensive to maintain, then try and buy parts for that g37. The markup is substantially higher, even in aftermarket. I do agree though, specialized cars do cost more to maintain, and the g37 is in a limited market. I'm still interested to see how this car compares in 3-5 years.
